The Need

Uganda has over 2 million orphans, many of whom face poverty, neglect, and trauma. Without shelter, education, or love, they are at risk of exploitation and a lifetime of hardship.

Our Response

The 5000Men Charity Orphan Care & Education Program (2025–2035) is a Christ-centered initiative that provides safe homes, quality education, and holistic support for vulnerable children.

Our goal is not just to house children, but to raise a new generation of healed, equipped, and empowered young leaders.

What We Do

  • Build orphanage shelters with safe dormitories, chapels, dining halls, and study spaces.
  • Provide free, Christ-centered education through Bread & Light Academy (Primary) and Amani Hills Christian School (Secondary).
  • Offer psychosocial counseling, trauma healing, and discipleship.
  • Guarantee daily nutritious meals and health monitoring.
  • Train children in life skills and vocational empowerment.
  • Reunite children with families or foster homes where safe and possible.

Our Impact Goals (2025–2035)

  • Directly care for 200+ orphans in shelters.
  • Provide education for 800+ learners at Bread & Light Academy.
  • Train 600+ secondary students at Amani Hills Christian School.
  • Empower children with at least one employable skill by age 18.
  • Reintegrate dozens into loving families through foster care and adoption.

Flagship Projects

  1. Bread & Light Academy – “Feeding Minds, Lighting Hearts”
  2. Amani Hills Christian School – “Equipped to Lead, Anchored in Faith”
These schools are fully integrated with shelters, ensuring every child learns, heals, belongs, and thrives.

Our Foundation

“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families.” – Psalm 68:5–6
