Across Uganda, many orphaned and vulnerable children face barriers to education, adequate care, healthcare and opportunities for personal development. Poverty and difficult family circumstances can prevent children from reaching their full potential.
At 5000Men Charity Organisation, we believe that every child deserves dignity, protection, education and the opportunity to build a meaningful future, regardless of their circumstances.
Our Response
Our Orphan Care and Education Support Programme is a Christ-centred initiative committed to improving educational opportunities and supporting the holistic well-being of orphaned and vulnerable children.
We are beginning through direct educational assistance, including school fees and scholastic materials, while progressively developing partnerships and resources for broader child welfare, family support and educational programmes.
Our long-term vision includes establishing safe and nurturing educational institutions, strengthening family-based care and providing opportunities that equip children with knowledge, character, confidence and practical life skills.
Our commitment is not merely to help children attend school, but to give them a foundation upon which they can build a hopeful and productive future.
Nurturing Potential. Protecting Childhood. Building Brighter Futures.
At 5000Men Charity Organisation, our Orphan Care and Education Support Programme seeks to address the educational, social, emotional, and developmental needs of orphaned and vulnerable children.
Our work is being developed progressively, beginning with direct education support and expanding into broader child welfare initiatives as partnerships, funding and institutional capacity grow.
We also envision appropriate residential care facilities for children who require alternative care, subject to safeguarding standards, professional assessment, regulatory approvals and available resources. Family-based care and safe reintegration will remain important priorities.
Our ultimate goal is not simply to provide temporary assistance, but to help children grow into educated, confident and responsible individuals who can contribute meaningfully to their communities.
Our First Outreach – Hillstone Nursery & Primary School
21 September 2026 | Ntunda Campus
On 21 September 2026, 5000Men Charity Organisation marked an important milestone with its inaugural community outreach at Hillstone Nursery & Primary School, Ntunda Campus.
Through our Orphan Care and Education Support Programme, we paid Term III school fees for 11 vulnerable children, helping them continue their education with greater financial security.
Beyond the school fees, we purchased and distributed scholastic materials to pupils across the entire school, supporting their everyday learning needs and demonstrating our commitment to inclusive educational assistance.
The outreach also provided an opportunity for our team to interact with the children, teachers and school community, offering encouragement and reaffirming our belief that every child deserves an opportunity to learn and thrive.
Although this was our first outreach, it represented a significant step in translating our Christian faith and charitable mission into practical action.
More Than an Outreach — The Beginning of a Journey
Our commitment extends beyond a single school visit. We aspire to build lasting relationships with schools, families and communities, progressively expanding educational support to reach more vulnerable children as resources and partnerships grow.
At 5000Men, we believe that every child supported today represents hope for a stronger tomorrow.
Restoring Dignity. Building Hope.
Our Impact Goals (2025–2035)
Measuring Progress. Transforming Lives. Building Lasting Hope.
At 5000Men Charity Organisation, we believe that meaningful impact begins with practical action and grows through sustained commitment, responsible stewardship and strong community partnerships.
Our Orphan Care and Education Support Programme is at an early stage of implementation. We are building on our first outreach while working towards a long-term vision of expanding educational opportunities and strengthening care for orphaned and vulnerable children across Uganda.
Our First Milestone — 2026
On 21 September 2026, we conducted our inaugural outreach at Hillstone Nursery & Primary School, Ntunda Campus, where we:
Paid Term III school fees for 11 vulnerable children.
Purchased and distributed scholastic materials to 250 pupils across the school.
This marked the beginning of our direct educational support activities.
Our Long-Term Goals — Towards 2035
As resources, partnerships and institutional capacity develop, we aim to:
Expand Educational Access
Support increasing numbers of orphaned and vulnerable children through school fees, scholastic materials, mentorship and educational partnerships.
Establish Quality Educational Institutions
Work towards developing Bread & Light Nursery & Primary School and Amani Hills Christian Secondary School as institutions dedicated to academic excellence, character development and holistic education.
Strengthen Child Welfare and Protection
Develop sustainable systems for identifying vulnerable children, supporting caregivers, promoting child safeguarding and facilitating appropriate welfare services.
Promote Holistic Child Development
Expand access to healthcare support, nutrition, counselling, mentorship, spiritual care and practical life-skills development.
Build Sustainable Partnerships
Collaborate with schools, churches, communities, government institutions and development partners to strengthen the reach and long-term sustainability of our programmes.
Our Commitment to Accountability
We intend to measure and communicate our progress through documented activities, verified beneficiary records, programme evaluations and transparent reporting.
Our success will be measured not only by the number of children reached, but also by the educational opportunities created, the well-being of beneficiaries and the lasting improvements made in their lives.
Every child supported is a step towards a future where vulnerability does not determine opportunity.
Our Flagship Educational Projects
Building Institutions of Learning, Character and Opportunity
As part of our long-term commitment to orphaned and vulnerable children, 5000Men Charity Organisation envisions establishing educational institutions that combine academic excellence, Christian values, personal development and inclusive learning opportunities.
These institutions are proposed future developments and will be implemented progressively, subject to funding, regulatory approvals and institutional readiness.
Bread & Light Nursery & Primary School
Nurturing Young Minds. Building Strong Foundations.
Bread & Light Nursery & Primary School is envisioned as a Christ-centred educational institution dedicated to providing a strong foundation for early childhood and primary education.
The proposed school will emphasise literacy, numeracy, creativity, discipline, character development and the holistic well-being of learners.
Special consideration will be given to expanding educational opportunities for orphaned and vulnerable children while maintaining an inclusive and supportive learning environment.
Amani Hills Christian Secondary School
Equipped to Lead. Anchored in Faith.
Amani Hills Christian Secondary School is envisioned as a modern secondary educational institution committed to academic achievement, Christian character, leadership development and practical life skills.
The proposed school will seek to prepare young people for higher education, meaningful careers and responsible service to their communities.
Through quality teaching, mentorship, extracurricular activities and personal development, Amani Hills will aim to nurture knowledgeable, confident and principled future leaders.
Our Development Commitment
Both schools form part of our long-term educational vision. Their establishment will depend on responsible planning, sustainable financing, qualified personnel, appropriate infrastructure and compliance with Uganda’s educational requirements.
Our ambition is to build more than schools — we aspire to establish institutions that will nurture generations and create lasting opportunities for children and young people.
Our Foundation
“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families.” – Psalm 68:5–6
