Every night, thousands of men, women, and children across Uganda sleep on the streets, in drainage tunnels, abandoned buildings, and market stalls—exposed to hunger, illness, exploitation, and despair. Kampala alone is home to over 15,000 homeless individuals, most of them young people displaced by poverty, abuse, or war.
Our Response
The 5000Men Charity Homeless shelters & Reintegration Program (2025–2035) is a Christ-centered mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and reintegrate the homeless into society. We are not only offering beds, but restoring dignity, identity, and hope.
What We Do
How We Fund It
To keep these services running, we need an annual operational budget of USD 840,150.
This covers food, rented shelter facilities, medical support, program staff, and reintegration activities.
At the same time, we are investing in long-term sustainability. Our flagship capital project is the purchase and remodeling of a downtown Kampala building into a permanent homeless shelter, at an estimated USD 7,045,000.

Call to Action
This is more than a shelter project. It is a movement of compassion, a mission of reform, and a model of God’s love made manifest in bricks, bread, and belonging.
