The Need
Across Uganda, thousands of widows live in silence and struggle — abandoned by families, denied inheritance rights, and left to raise children without support. Many are elderly, vulnerable, and forgotten by society.

Our Response
The 5000Men Charity Widows Empowerment & Restoration Program (2025–2035) is a 10-year Christ-centered initiative designed to restore dignity, purpose, and hope. We are building Widows Empowerment Villages (WEVs) — safe, loving communities where widows can heal, learn, and thrive.

What We Do

• Provide safe housing for widows in dedicated empowerment villages.
• Offer spiritual healing, prayer, and trauma counseling.
• Equip widows with vocational skills like tailoring, agro-processing, and crafts.
• Run legal literacy & land rights clinics to defend inheritance and property rights.
• Support health & wellness with regular check-ups and nutrition programs.
• Build a fellowship & advocacy network, giving widows a national voice.

Our Impact Goals (2025–2035)

• Empower 4,000+ widows directly.
• Launch 2,500+ small businesses run by widows.
• Reach 12,000+ dependents and households.
• Resolve/assist in 1,000+ legal cases.
• Construct 10 Widows Empowerment Villages nationwide.

Flagship Project: Katosi, Mukono District

The first Widows Empowerment Village (WEV) will open in Katosi. Each village will house 30–40 widows, with:

• Senior-friendly residences.
• A community kitchen & dining hall.
• Prayer gazebo & fellowship halls.
• Training workshops.
• On-site social workers, chaplains, and legal support.
